Skip the crowded clubs and expensive cover charges. A backyard New Year's Eve party lets you celebrate with friends and family on your own terms, and with the right rentals it can feel just as exciting as any venue.
Create Shelter and Atmosphere
A 20x20 canopy tent keeps guests dry and out of the wind. Hang string lights inside and add gold and silver uplighting.
Mix Seating and Standing Areas
Use cocktail highboy tables for mingling and a few party tables with chairs for food. Black or gold tablecloths look elegant at night.
Music and Dancing
Bring the club home with an LED dance floor and PA speakers. Keep the volume neighbor-friendly after midnight.
The Midnight Moment
- Stream the ball drop on a projection screen
- Use a cold spark fountain instead of fireworks for a safe, dramatic countdown
- Hand out sparkling cider and noisemakers
Keep Drinks Cold
A large 165-quart cooler keeps champagne and sodas chilled all night.
