Christmas is the busiest party season in North Texas. Between family dinners, office parties, church events and neighborhood gatherings, December weekends book up fast. This guide walks you through exactly what to rent for a Christmas party in Dallas, Frisco, Plano or McKinney, and how to plan it without the stress.
Start With Your Guest Count
Your guest count drives every rental decision. As a rule of thumb, a 6 ft rectangular party table seats 6 to 8 adults and a round party table seats 8 comfortably. Plan one white folding chair per guest plus a few extras for late arrivals.
- 20 guests: 3 six-foot tables and 24 chairs
- 40 guests: 5 to 6 tables and 45 chairs
- 75 guests: 10 round tables and 80 chairs
Dress the Tables for the Season
Tablecloths instantly turn a rented table into a holiday centerpiece. Red, green, gold, white or black linens all work for Christmas. Layer them with runners, candles, pinecones and ornaments for a festive look that photographs beautifully.
Add a Cocktail Area
Guests love to mingle before dinner. A few cocktail highboy tables with white or black spandex covers create a natural gathering spot near the bar or dessert table.
Entertainment That Gets Everyone Involved
A 360 photo booth is one of the most requested Christmas party add-ons in DFW. Add Santa hats, reindeer antlers and a custom holiday overlay, and guests will share videos all night. For larger events, an LED dance floor and quality speakers keep the energy up.
Planning for Texas Weather
December in Dallas can be 70 degrees one day and freezing the next. If your party is outdoors, reserve a canopy tent as a backup so rain or wind never cancels the celebration.
Christmas Party Rental Timeline
