Long Banquet Tables
Placing 6 ft party tables end to end creates a dramatic, family-style table where everyone shares one meal.
- Best for: 12 to 30 guests, long narrow rooms, garages and patios
- Pros: feels intimate and traditional, easy to pass dishes
- Decor: one continuous runner with candles, greenery and ornaments
Round Tables
Round party tables seat eight and make conversation easy because everyone faces each other.
- Best for: 30+ guests, large open rooms, tents
- Pros: flexible layout, easy to group families together
- Decor: a centerpiece on each table with matching tablecloths
Space Planning
Allow roughly 10 to 12 square feet per seated guest, including walkways. A 20x30 space comfortably holds six round tables for 48 guests.
